Tuğba Gider

With more than 20 years of experience in the finance sector, Tuğba Gider holds an MBA from Istanbul Bilgi University and further strengthened her international academic background with executive education in economics, leadership and sustainability at Harvard Business School. She began her career at Garanti BBVA within Doğuş Group, where she spent 13 years in retail and commercial banking management, building deep expertise in financial management, risk analysis and strategic growth.

Through TG Academy Consultancy, which she founded, she advises leading exporter brands on financial management, strategic planning and sustainability — helping businesses adapt to changing conditions, develop sustainable growth strategies and increase efficiency. She delivers finance, economics and sustainability training to banks, chambers of commerce and industry, sports clubs and entrepreneurs, generating value across a wide ecosystem.

As the founder of Turkish Meetups, a platform that brings the international business world together, Tuğba Gider organizes international events centered on finance, strategy and the sports industry. Through Sports Industry Forum, a vision she brought to life within this platform, she unites leading figures in sports economics, sports management, technology, investment and sustainability on a single stage, contributing to the growth of international collaboration.

A recognized expert in sports economics, Tuğba Gider has served as a lecturer at Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa and mentors graduate and doctoral students across Turkey in the field of sports economics. She has also served as a member of the Turkish National Olympic Committee's Fair Play Commission, contributing to the promotion of Fair Play and Financial Fair Play principles.

A pioneering figure in media as well, Tuğba Gider became the first woman broadcaster to produce and host a live television program on sports economics, making her mark on the industry. Through her broadcasts and talks on sports economics, sustainability and finance, she continues to contribute to knowledge-sharing at both national and international levels.
